Seniors A Go Go is a volunteer driver program that provides transportation so seniors stay mobile and connected to their communities.
When driving a car is no longer an option, seniors maintain an independent, active lifestyle by scheduling rides to medical appointments, errands, exercise classes, social activities, and more. Clients request rides in advance, allowing plenty of time for ElderHelp to carefully coordinate details for pick up, drop off, or even door-through- door options.
Safe, reliable transportation provided by trained and vetted volunteers ensures regular access to medical care, visits with friends and family, and the freedom to enjoy an active lifestyle.
ElderHelp of San Diego provides rides to seniors 60+ to medical appointments and social engagements through our Seniors-A-Go-Go program. You must become a member before you can start scheduling rides. There is a one-time $20 application fee. Due to the application process and fee, this service may not be appropriate for an immediate need or one-time rides and you may be placed on a waiting list. We cannot accommodate new members who use wheelchairs. All ride requests must be called 7 days in advance and members can receive a maximum of 6 rides in one month. There may be a small fee associated with your rides. Additional services are available through our Concierge Club program. Please leave a message at 619-284-9281 x119 to receive more information.
