Solana Beach Dial-A-Ride Taxi Voucher Program

The City of Solana Beach provides taxi vouchers (scrips) to seniors, 65 years and older or for those who are receiving Social Security retirement or equivalent benefits, or for those who are physically disabled and meet certain income requirements. Clients must also be residents of Solana Beach. Clients are eligible for one Dial-A-Ride voucher booklet per month, at the cost of $7.50. Each booklet has a value of $20 and can only be used for taxi fares with either Courtesy Cab (858-755-3730) or Yellow Cab (760-722-4214 or 619-234-6161). Clients are required to fill out an application in advance. Stop by City Hall located at 635 S. Hwy 101, Solana Beach, or call 858-720-2400 and ask for an application to be mailed to you. Once your application is on file you can mail a monthly check for $7.50 and receive your booklet by return mail.
