Program Name: Travelers Aid Society – Family Reunification Program
Our Family Reunification Program is a one way, one time service in which clients are provided with partial or full payment towards a Greyhound Bus ticket. In order to qualify, the client must be homeless in Downtown San Diego, have never used this service before, must not have any outstanding warrants in San Diego County, must not be a PC290, and must have verifiable proof of their permanent residency at their destination. Travelers Aid does not assist in purchasing tickets to San Bernardino County, Los Angeles County, Orange County, or Riverside County. To see if a client qualifies, they may call Travelers Aid or visit the office located at St Vincent de Paul on Monday or Tuesday. Referrals for this service are on a first come, first serve basis for qualifying clients, and it is suggested that they arrive between 8am-8:30am.
Client must have family/support systems in place when relocation occurs (verification will be made). No assistance with gas vouchers or day passes
