Program Description

Although our emphasis is the urban American Indian population, the San Diego American Indian Health Center is open to everyone regardless of race, color, gender, age, ancestry, mental and physical abilities, religion, socio-economic status, sexual orientation and national origin. All verified Native Americans are eligible for care regardless of residency or tribal affiliation. Transportation is provided to/from the clinic and/or to referred agencies for eligible San Diego American Indian patients ONLY who do not have any other means of transportation. The clinic also provides transportation for community members to some local events.
