Island Express Shuttle – City of Coronado

The City of Coronado is introducing a new on-demand electric shuttle called the Island Express. The door-to-door on-demand shuttle is provided by Circuit Transportation. The mini-shuttle is free to the community during the six-month pilot program. The Island Express started on June 4, 2024, with six electric five-passenger vehicles providing service to the Village and two electric 10-passenger vans serving the Cays. Riders must be at least 16 years old unless accompanied by an adult. The goal of the pilot program is to test the effectiveness of the service to aid in future planning.

Cost:
Free (June 2024 – November 2024), drivers accept gratuities.

Service Hours:

Sunday-Thursday: 10 am – 9 pm

Friday-Saturday: 9 am – 10 pm
